Stone fabrication
Quartzite and porcelain shouldn't cost you a blade a week.
Hard, brittle, and unforgiving — the materials customers want most are the ones that chip on the cut and eat diamond tooling. S Complex changes the way the blade meets the slab.
What changes when you add it to your water
- Cutting speeds go up by multiples on the hardest materials. See the trials below.
- Blades last 30–50% longer in linear feet of cut.
- Chipping and breakout drop, so there's less edge work after the cut.
- Machine amperage barely rises even at higher speeds. Your operators will see it on the gauge.
- The saw runs noticeably quieter, especially on porcelain and sintered stone.
Proof
Ultimate Stone — Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Sabre Jet XT bridge saw, 0.8% S Complex in the water feed.
| Material | Fresh water | With S Complex | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Taj Mahal quartzite | 30 in/min | 135 in/min | 4.5x faster |
| Iceberg quartzite | 20 in/min | 95 in/min | 4.75x faster |
After the trial, the shop cut a full Iceberg quartzite kitchen in 12 minutes. It normally took an hour.
Hard Rock Stone Works — Sterling Heights, Michigan. Robo SawJet, 1% S Complex, recycled water system.
| Material | Fresh water | With S Complex | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dekton | 75 in/min | 250 in/min | 3.3x faster |
| Engineered quartz | 112 in/min | 250 in/min | 2.2x faster |
250 in/min is the saw's programmed maximum. The shop had never run it above 145. No chips, no blowouts, and no effect on the water-recycling system.
We no longer dread cutting ultra-compact and sintered slabs.
Your stack
Four products, one loop: the additive goes in, the water gets recycled, the slurry gets handled, and the buildup comes off.
S Complex
The cutting additive. Goes in the water line ahead of the saw.
Dosatron
Water-powered dosing. Right concentration every cut, no electricity.
AquaTerra Maxx
Clears recycled water fast and drops a dense, dewaterable sludge.
SlurrySolve
Softens dried slurry and mineral buildup on saws, tables, and floors.
Dose at 1:250 for natural stone, 1:125 when you're also cutting porcelain or sintered stone. A Dosatron holds that ratio automatically.
The First Cut Test, on your floor
One saw, one material you dread, two weeks. We set the Dosatron with you by phone. Cut against fresh water first, then dosed, and log inches per minute and amps on the sheet we send. The test costs you nothing but an hour.
